Prada, which originally was named as Prada Brothers, was established in the year 1913 by the founder, Mario Prada in Milan,Italy. Mario gave Miuccia Prada, his granddaughter his business in 1978. Prada was still only sold leather good at the time. The company became bigger when Miuccia gave it a more bohemian style.
Miuccia started a new company by the name of Miu Miu , which is often simpler and it has a touch of high image of vintage products. Later, Prada Sport 'Linea Rossa" was created.
Prada has made its name as one of the most important clothing designers in fashion NOW.
